Summary:  It’s the end of the world as we know it. The many different kinds of mythical creatures have come out of hiding and there just weren’t enough hunters to keep everyone safe. The hunters who are left have started teaching civilians how to protect themselves, but something is hunting in a small mountain town that the hunters in the area have never seen before. Can Cas and Dean save the remaining people in the town before they become the creatures’ next victims?

Opening paragraph: I always thought the end of the world would have zombies. That’s what you always see on TV anyway. They never talk about what would happen if monsters came out of hiding. I mean, I didn’t think there would be as many as there were. One day no one talked about kelpe or wendigo, then the next thing you know there are werewolves terrorizing towns at night and Djinns attacking moms at the supermarket. By now, there are more of them than there are humans. We are in hiding now, we are the hunted.
